Redux:Installer

Redux is installed using the custom installer which patches an existing copy of KSP 2 with all of the necessary Redux files.

The installer includes version download options, Redux news, and links to other KSP websites. The installer is only used to install and update Redux, not launch or run the game. Once the patches have been applied the game can be started and played from its existing install location (Steam / direct download).

Install / update version

The version selection dropdown in the bottom left corner is where the user selects the Redux version to install. The current public beta and all previous stable releases are listed. Once a version is selected, click the "Install" button. Once installed the button changes to "Update" which will update the installed Redux version the latest stable version.

Latest news

A newsfeed on the left side of the installer displays the latest updates from the Redux developers on the project. These updates are pulled from the KSP 2 Modding Society Discord server.

Settings

Installer settings are available from the gear icon in the top right on the installer home screen.
