The Solid Fuel Boosters research node can be researched on Tier 1 of the Tech Tree using 15 Science. It is the first node to make solid fuel boosters available. This node requires the Light Launchers node to be researched first.

Synopsis

A solid rocket booster, or SRB, is a powerful engine with fuel already built in. They are quite useful for providing a huge amount of thrust during the start of a launch, particularly with 2 or more radially attached. Because more power equals more fun, right?
