PPD-12 "Sightseer" is a cupola observation module. It is unlocked from Medium Orbital Rockets in Tier 2 of the Tech Tree. It features an array of seven large windows and room for one Kerbal.

Usage

The Sightseer is typically utilized as a part on space stations. It has the highest mass of all single-Kerbal command pods, but has a greater battery and monopropellant capacity as well as maximum torque. Its heat tolerance of only 750 K does not make it an ideal choice for an atmospheric entry command module, on par with with the Mk1 "Explorer" and Mk2 "Tuna Can" lander can pods.

Synopsis

"The PPD-12 "Sightseer" is a command pod with a view. It is equipped with a small battery, monopropellant storage, and a small reaction wheel. The hexagonal windows command a magnificent view. The only downside is it has only one seat, please remember to share."

Trivia

This module is also inspired by the Cupola module of the International Space Station.
