S3 KS-25 "Vector" is a sustainer methalox engine. It is unlocked from Modular Launchers in Tier 2 of the Tech Tree. It features a typical single nozzle design. The "Vector" is distinguished by its significant gimbal range of ±10.5o. Similar to the T-1 "Dart", but unlike most engines, its performance is nearly the same in vacuum as it is in atmosphere. It is the heaviest and most powerfulSM engine.

Usage[edit | edit source]

The "Vector" is primarily intended to be used with engine plates to create inline multi-engine stages or for Space Shuttle recreations. The performance profile makes it a very useful engine for landers on atmospheric bodies, with the main concern becoming its weight.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The "Vector" is Kerbodyne's flagship engine. It is heavier than engines like "Reliant," and has nearly the power of a "Mainsail," with a gimbal range over 10 degrees. This engine works great both in and out of an atmosphere, and our engineers promise their new alloys make it 99% less likely to explode.
