The Orbital Rocketry research node can be researched on Tier 1 of the Tech Tree using 25 Science. It is the first node to include an "orbital" classified engine. This node requires the Solid Fuel Boosters node to be researched first.
Parts Acquired
There are 2 parts acquired from this node, both engines.
Synopsis
With this technology we will explore advances in Specific Impulse, or ISP. Engines with high specific impulse are not always as powerful as lower ISP engines, but are more efficient and consume less fuel, making them quite useful in low gravity environments like space.
