0.2.3.0 is the foundational patch to KSP 2 from Redux. It implements new missions, an ISRU system and parts, UI and QoL changes, and fixes to several bugs and performance issues.

UI

VAB

  • The Engineer's Report displays an indicator icon depending on the vessel's estimated viability.
  • The heat indicator displayed on vessels is rounded and has a border for improved visibility.
  • The App Bar has a button to view the Mission Tracker.
Part painting
  • Base and accent colors can be swapped with a single button.
  • An eyedropper tool can be used to copy applied colors from any part on a vessel.
  • Colors can be saved as presets to be used again later.
  • Fields for specific color hex code and opacity application and copying.

Orbital information

  • Text on the orbital stats box underneath the navball is clearer to read.
  • The orbital stats box underneath the navball can be expanded to display additional information such as inclination and period.

Map view

  • Orbital conic segments are displayed with individual colors.
  • Clicking on a vessel's orbital path gives the option to warp to apoapsis, periapsis, and SoI change.
